What is a layflat photo book?

Layflat binding is a technique that allows for no middle creasing when the book is open, the pages remaining completely flat. Layflat photobooks are the ideal option for keeping intact the landscape photos that span across the width of two pages.

I used stickers and other design elements when I created the project. Will these be printed as well?

All stickers and design elements used when personalizing the product will be printed and will be found in the final product you receive.

Will you print your logo on the products? Can it be removed?

Our logo is printed on all products. It is not possible for it to be removed.

I would like to upload examples of pages that I have created in other programs to your editor. Is it possible?

Open the project in edit mode and click Backgrounds, then click the Browse button and then the Upload Backgrounds button to see the specific requirements related to this particular project.

Do you improve a project's images quality before printing?

We do not intervene to enhance the photos before printing.

Can I save the project in my computer? Can the product be printed at home?

Our system does not allow saving the project in your computer nor by printing the product yourself.

What kind of paper is used for printing the photobooks?

Photobooks are printed on super glossy paper, photographic or 300g superior quality.

What kind of bindings and covers are used?

Albums are paperback or layflat, using hardcover or soft.

What does broaching mean?

Broaching is the most popular method of binding books, benefiting from the best cost and good resistance. Interior sheets are glued together and have a protective high thickness cover attached (170-300g / sq m). This category includes many types of products, including products that are stitched or stapled.

How many pages can a photobook have?

Because of the binding process, each photobook must have at least 10 pages. If you have less than 10 pages, add a blank page until you reach X. Normally, paperback photobooks can have a maximum of Y pages and layflat photobooks a maximum of Z pages.
